Yr9 Saatchi Gallery

Some of our most Gifted and Talented Year 9 students visited the Saatchi Gallery on Monday 27^th November and explored the 'Moving Parts' exhibition which showcased the abstract sculptural work of Misha Milovanovich and painter Kathryn MacNaughton which was about the relationship between the human figure and space. They also enjoyed the instillation work of artist duo Christo and Jean-Claude in the 'boundless' exhibit and the vibrant mixed media self portraits of Andrew Salgado in the 'Tomorrow I'll be perfect' exhibition which explored the way in which personal identity is constructed.. They enjoyed making their own art work and exploring the gallery spaces.
