Yr12 and Yr13 Saatchi Gallery

On Friday 24^th November our year 12 and year 13 classes visited the Saatchi Gallery to explore some wonderful contemporary Artwork by an array of artists covering Abstraction, portraits, sculpture and instillation work. The students enjoyed learning about new artists and art styles and were keen to contribute to the 'If not now, when? Womens sculpture in Britain 1960-2023' exhibit where they were able to display their own work around the theme of inspirational women. We also visited the 'Filling in the pieces in black' exhibition which brought together a collection of contemporary black artists and included some phenomenal artwork.
