Year 8 Trip to the Science Museum
Back
On the 10th, 11th and 12th of July Year 8 visited the Science Museum where students were able to view respected exhibitions, renowned items, and tales of amazing scientific accomplishment. There were plenty of things to see and do and a range of interactive galleries that students could explore. They thoroughly enjoyed exploring space where they could view a real moon rock, satellites and Tim Peake’s spacecraft narrate the fascinating tale of space travel. In addition to this, they were able to explore in the flight gallery where a remarkable aircraft is suspended in mid-air, allowing the students to investigate aviation advancements both domestically and abroad.
Students were inquisitive and keen to learn about so many aspects of Science, they were a credit to the school throughout their visit and it was a pleasure to take them out on such an enjoyable trip. Well done to all students that went and a big thank you to all staff and teams that helped organise this trip.
