As part of their GCSE English Literature studies, year 11 set off to central London under a chocolate-coloured pall to take part in a walking tour of locations linked to Stevenson's novella ‘The Strange Case of Jekyll and Hyde’. By the time we’d made it to Covent Garden, the sun had arrived to accompany us on the exploration of the duality of the city itself; how this was manifest in Victorian London and how it is today.

We spent the afternoon strolling around The National Gallery - many students’ first visit - where we collected inspiration for our creative writing exams. All in all, a wonderful day, and we even made some friends along the way!
