Essex Chemistry Mastermind competition

On Tuesday 10^th December, four students participated in the Essex Chemistry Mastermind competition at the University of East London. These four students competed with 22 other schools in three rounds of challenging activities, some of which included practical tasks. They did Loxford proud!

All students found the competition to be a valuable and enjoyable experience. It was their first time participating in such an event and their first time visiting a university, which gave them a better understanding of university life and advanced lab settings. Through the competition, they gained further knowledge about Chemistry and its relevance to daily life, while also developing skills in working under pressure and within time constraints. Overall, the students found the day to be an enriching experience. Here's to next year's competition!
