On Tuesday 16th July 2024, the Computing Department took 17 Year 7 students to attend an educational visit at the Science Museum in London.  The students visited several galleries including the Information Age Gallery.  They took part in activities including fun project-based tasks, to learn how to code and simulate a real-life robotic visualisation.  The students were educated on the history of the smartphone, life before streaming and social media. They took part in challenges with real-life hands on approaches to problem solving and collaborative working.

The students demonstrated outstanding behaviour, together with being respectful, polite and humble towards members of the public and staff. They are a credit to the staff at Loxford School.

As teachers, we are immensely proud of our students, thanking them for their behaviour, and conduct at the Science Museum.
