National Portrait Gallery Trip

On the 5th of July, a group of 28 Year 12 students embarked on a trip to the National Portrait Gallery. This excursion was designed to deepen their cultural and contextual understanding of English literature and language.

As they wandered through the gallery, students observed portraits of influential literary figures, gaining insights into the historical and social contexts that shaped their works. The experience was not only educational but also inspiring, offering a unique perspective that complemented their classroom studies. This visit provided an invaluable opportunity for the students to connect with the rich tapestry of English literary heritage in a tangible and engaging way.
