Diana Awards 2024

Our student leaders (anti-bullying ambassadors, monitors, and prefects) recently completed a workshop with The Diana Award focused on the LGBTQ+ community and issues they face.

This comprehensive training involved learning British Sign Language (BSL) to better communicate with and support LGBTQ+ students. Participants gained valuable insights into how to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment within the school. The workshop emphasised the importance of challenging bullying behaviours and provided practical strategies for supporting students in the LGBTQ+ community. By empowering these student leaders, the initiative aims to create a safer, more supportive school environment where all students can thrive and feel respected.
