The Bernice McCabe Award

The Loxford School English Department was short-listed and subsequently commended for the highly prestigious Bernice McCabe Award. 

The PTI’s Bernice McCabe Award celebrates excellence in subject leadership within schools, recognising departments that put quality subject teaching at the heart of the classroom. The Loxford School English Department was nominated as a result of its ambitious approach to literary criticism in the classroom across all ages.
