London’s Apple Store

On Wednesday 29th November 2023, the Computing Department took 11 Year 12 BTEC IT students to attend two workshops at London’s Apple Store in Regent Street.  The workshops included a fun project based session, to learn how to code with the latest state of the art devices from Apple.  The students took part in challenges to learn how to complete the core fundamentals of coding, along with real-life hands on approaches to problem solving and collaborative working.

The Year 12 BTEC IT students had an exceptional time and are a credit to the staff at Loxford School and during the course of the trip; they demonstrated outstanding behaviour, alongside being respectful, polite and humble towards members of the public and staff.

As teachers, we are immensely proud of our students, thanking them for their behaviour, and conduct at the London’s Apple Regent Street Store.
