GCSE Year 11 Drama Trip to the National Theatre

On Thursday November 16, 2023 17 GCSE Drama students were chosen to go see the National Theatre perform the Ocean at the End of The Lane at the stunning Noel Coward Theatre in Central London. The play featured spectacular set changes, gorgeous costumes, outstanding special effects and the students were able to experience world class actors perform.  The students were impeccably behaved and thoroughly enjoyed the play, making many links to their own Drama studies. In particular, the scene in which special effects were used to create an illusion of an actor actually turning into a monster-like figure had our students in awe. The play ended too quickly!  Overall, the day was one that we will all remember quite fondly. Thank you Year 11 Drama Students!
