Upcoming open mornings/evening
BackOPEN EVENING AND OPEN MORNINGS
The Loxford School are pleased to be running a series of ‘Open Events’ for prospective students wishing to join us in September 2024.
Families of students currently in Year 6 only who would like to visit our school are invited to attend one of the following open events.
OPEN MORNINGS
These will run on Monday 2rd October 2023 and Thursday 5th October 2023. There will be one tour slot on each day available at 10.10AM.
Students currently in Year 6 will be able to attend with one parent/carer and receive a full tour of our school buildings. This will be a fantastic opportunity to see our staff and students in action and get a real sense of how our school works; you will get to witness our outstanding teaching and the fantastic behaviour of our students.
Your tour will be led by an experienced member of our staff and you will have a chance to ask questions throughout.
We hope to see many of you at our Open Morning events as this will be the best opportunity to see a normal working day at our school.
In order to ensure everybody gets a chance to attend, spaces at all of our open events must be booked in advance, please call reception to reserve your place on the tour.
Please note that families will be able to attend one event only. Spaces on morning tours are limited to 30 families. More spaces are available at our open evening event.
OPEN EVENING:
For families not able to attend one of our open mornings, there will be one Open Evening event on Thursday 5th October 2023.
Students currently in Year 6 will be able to attend with their parent/carer from 4.30 PM – 6.30PM.
During the open evening event there will be a short address by the Headteacher at 4.30 PM and 5.30 PM. A tour of the School will take place after the speech. Departments will run interactive activities throughout the evening that your child will be able to enjoy.
