Year 10 Frozen Musical Trip

On Thursday November 17th, the Year 10 GCSE Music students had the privilege of going to see Frozen the Musical at the Royal Drury Lane Theatre in London's West End.
The show was absolutely spectacular- with outstanding special effects, jaw-dropping scenery and memorable live music played by an orchestra and sung by professional Broadway vocalists. The students were impeccably behaved and thoroughly enjoyed every second of their time in the theatre. In particular, the song Let it Go with its resounding chorus and orchestration, plus additional costume changes and set design flourishes had the students in awe!
The musical ended too quickly and the Year 10s were complimented by members of the public for their behaviour during the performance. After the show, on the way back to the station we even were able to see London's new light displays for the upcoming festive season. It was a fantastic day.
