Reading Buddies

‘The more that you read, the more things that you will know, the more that you learn, the more places you will go’

This term we have started our reading buddy system. Our budding Year 6 volunteers received 2 days training and have been paired up with some of our year 2 children. These sessions run twice a week and range from the Year 2s reading to our Year 6s or vice versa. The children have developed a mutual love of reading and look forward to these sessions every week- their words, not mine!
