27th March Trip to see The Picture of Dorian Gray

Twenty sixth form students went on an educational excursion to The Theatre Royal Haymarket on March 27, 2024, to enrich their comprehension of Gothic literature. They saw an excellent performance of "The Picture of Dorian Gray", to further their engagement with their A level literature course. 

After the performance, the students were able to engage in lively discussions, analysing the characters' motivations, the symbolism behind the portrait, and the moral dilemmas presented in the narrative. The experience brought the text to life in a way that surpassed their expectations, providing valuable insights into the complexities of Gothic literature.
