Year 10 Borough Market And Spitalfields Market Trip
BackThe food department organised a trip to Borough Market and Spitalfields Markets for year 10 students studying food preparation and nutrition.
Students went to gather information about a range of different ingredients used in food preparation and a range of different cultural foods. They also looked at the packaging and promotion of different items in two different locations.
Borough Market is a wholesale and retail Market hall in Southwark, London. It is one of the largest and oldest food Markets in London, with a Market on the site dating back to at least the 12th century.
